Wicked Ghetto (Mobile Experience) A.01
#1
[Edit] The app finally has a face, check out the post below to see how the app is coming along.

Since we are trying to spice things up how would someone feel about a simple app that loads a browser straight to our beloved page. Will be available on iOS and Android.

OK, so unless this is part of a Style we use,
I didn't activate any APPS, and according to my Board settings it said,
Quote:[HEADING=2] PWA setup [/HEADING]

A properly configured progressive web app allows users to install your site to their device.

Your board does not meet the requirements to be an installable progressive web app. Please ensure the settings listed below are filled out correctly.
Browsers only check for updates to these values periodically. It may take up to 24 hours for changes to be applied.

[HEADING=3] Requirements [/HEADING]

HTTPS enabled
No
Your board must be served over HTTPS for progressive web app support.

So it's not a true app then, just the browser, because with the Push Notifications App, this forum would need a 7.1 php server along with a valid Https certificate,
I have often thought about moving us to a https server, but it costs a monthly pretty penny which I don't have at the moment, and I'm not fond of asking for contributions.

That's what I want to see,
Since this server doesn't meet the basic requirements for a PWA,
The question remains on if it is going to pass the security levels it will need to be.

Developing an app ain't that easy, too many security encryptions..

You would actually be surprised how little goes into those shifty games and apps you'll find all over the store.

The fact that this forum doesn't have https certificates, gives me a little challenge.

Not necessarily the forum, the server im on doesn't have the HTTPS certificates and yep, it is a hard shell to crack just because of the emails, passwords and other pertinent info here.

Anything that looks generic, mostly browsers or "phone cleaners"
