Still threatened by the "Titans" that rob them of their freedom, mankind remains caged inside the two remaining walls. Efforts to eradicate these monsters continue; however, threats arise not only from the Titans beyond the walls, but from the humans within them as well.
After being rescued from the Colossal and Armored Titans, Eren Yaeger devotes himself to improving his Titan form. Krista Lenz struggles to accept the loss of her friend, Captain Levi chooses Eren and his friends to form his new personal squad, and Commander Erwin Smith recovers from his injuries. All seems well for the soldiers, until the government suddenly demands custody of Eren and Krista. The Survey Corps' recent successes have drawn attention, and a familiar face from Levi's past is sent to collect the wanted soldiers. Sought after by the government, Levi and his new squad must evade their adversaries in hopes of keeping Eren and Krista safe.
In Shingeki no Kyojin Season 3, Eren and his fellow soldiers are not only fighting for their survival against the terrifying Titans, but also against the terror of a far more conniving foe: humans.

Man toonami drives me crazy EP 3 won't be out until Sept 9th cuz a My Hero Academia marathon. I do believe that even funimation won't release the episode on that weekend because toonami got the rights to release it first. I believe they did the same for either season 2 or a different anime.
We will see what happens next week.

Thank you for the 2nd episode.
But I don't want to sound nitpicking here I do appreciate the effort you always put in but the FUNimation version won't be better?

It be exact same as the adult swim version chessmasterhex is currently uploading. The only difference being is the adult swim tag and the rating box at the very beginning. As to where funimation version has its intro at the beginning that's the only difference between the 2.

Personally I never like that rating box that Adult Swim always put in their animation it's kind of annoying.
And I also don't like how they put up their introduce opening songs always seem short to me never like that too.

Each episode is cut down to 22ish minutes from the original 24 minutes because it's a tvrip. Since its a TV rip they have to cut the OP down to make sure it fits into to its time slot/box and also has to air the commercials.

The encoder was late with the Funimation version, so I used the hdtv rip. That way there was something to watch. I always replace the tv rip with the Funimation version when it becomes available.
