Then again the major release groups upload to private trackers that have strict rules that must be followed to the letter and mp4 was tosses aside for mkv.


The other day I was fiddling around with a simple to the swaps mkvs to mp4 called MkvToMp4. I took a HD copy of Southland that was a mkv file and ran it through the tool and after I played the New mp4 file it looked exactly the same a the mkv.
So it all comes down to the original encode and not just a simple converter that we PSP uploaders use.

1. To hid an anti-piracy track right?
I remember Sony movies that were copied wouldn't play on Sony equipment.
Like ResidentEvil 2 or 3 or whatever would play on a PS3 etc but 15minutes in the audio would disappear.

2. Ohhhhh.
I think when PSP Uploaders convert movies into MP4 that anti-piracy original encode is removed, otherwise anything Sony wouldn't play on a PS3 or PSP.
