Virus?
#1
I tried to download something & got this 0wvghk.hynom & it keeps saying an update has been downloaded for that site in the background of that browser.
What is it & how do I stop it?
And can I get rid of it by deleting the browser & just downloading the browser again?

Depends on the browser your using, if it is the Microsoft Browser you could have issues uninstalling it, but if you contracted a virus through your browser,
usually clearing the cache will clear it up,
if you use Chrome...
You can also check for malware manually.
  1. Open Chrome.
  2. At the top right, click More. Settings.
  3. Click Advanced Reset and clean up. Clean up computer.
  4. Click Find.
  5. If you're asked to remove unwanted software, click Remove. You may be asked to reboot your computer.
If after that you still have issues,go through your control panel and uninstall unknown apps &/Or programs,
also if you still use AVG you can scan for cooties in safe mode,

Okay Thank You.
I think it's gone cause I did the clear cache & delete history, but I'm using that browser now to see if it worked.

I'm seeing this bqacv242 in Bing search prediction, is it just me?
Try typing something & see if the prediction results bring that up.
