AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR

New Avengers: Infinity War Synopsis Promises ‘Deadliest Showdown’

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been building towards Avengers: Infinity War for years, and a new synopsis braces audiences for the deadliest showdown yet. Ever since the mid-credits scene in The Avengers, audiences have been waiting for Thanos to arrive.

The first trailer for Infinity War has finally and truly unveiled The Mad Titan, as well as Josh Brolin’s performance as the character – and already, it’s been made clear that he poses a true threat to everyone’s favorite Marvel superheroes.

Marvel Studios has pulled together seemingly every character at their disposal to try and combat Thanos, and by the time the battle is complete in Untitled Avengers, the MCU roster will have been significantly thinned. Given the imminent loss of many fan-favorite heroes and the destruction that Thanos is keen on unleashing, Infinity War is now being touted as a showdown unlike anything before it.

Marvel has released a new synopsis for Avengers: Infinity War, coinciding with the release of the trailer. The plot summary, which you can read below, teases that the heroes of the MCU are indeed in for the ‘deadliest showdown of all time’ here:

An unprecedented cinematic journey ten years in the making and spanning the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe, Marvel Studios’ “Avengers: Infinity War” brings to the screen the ultimate, deadliest showdown of all time. The Avengers and their Super Hero allies must be willing to sacrifice all in an attempt to defeat the powerful Thanos before his blitz of devastation and ruin puts an end to the universe.
Anthony and Joe Russo direct the film, which is produced by Kevin Feige. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo and Stan Lee are the executive producers. Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely wrote the screenplay. “Avengers: Infinity War” releases in U.S. theaters on May 4, 2018.

As hard as it is to believe, the trailer only gives a glimpse of what Infinity War truly has in store. With possibly the largest cast of all time, the set pieces look to capitalize on the spectacle nature of this moment. In doing so, there will undoubtedly be plenty of destruction along the way, involving such places as New York, Wakanda, and Xandar, among other established locations in the MCU. Thanos is on a mission to get all six Infinity Stones after all, and he will have to make his way to Earth to gain access to a large number of them.

It has been a busy week for Infinity War as everything led to the launch of the trailer, and now this new synopsis. Vanity Fair did an entire profile on the MCU and brought 83 Marvel actors together for a giant photoshoot. Details from the set of Avengers 4 have also made their way online, with everyone involved being understandably coy about how Infinity War leads into the next film.

Plus, if all of this was not enough, the Infinity War teaser poster has been released, thanks to a “leak” by Tom Holland. Holland’s Spider-Man will be just one of the many heroes battling Thanos in the film, as they try and stop the Mad Titan from achieving his terrible goal.

I'm Sorry but Marvel Movies are KICKING DC Movies butts.

This like the majority Marvel Movies from the Incredible Hulk 2008 to now are well put together.........except for the horrible HORRIBLE Fantastic Four Reboot.

To be honest i think WonderWoman only did well because it was a female protagonist.

Nothing in journalistic media or marketing praised the actual quality of the film or actress based on their own merits & talent.
