Latest entry in long-running RPG series coming to consoles.

Taiwanese developer Softstar Entertainment will release action RPG Xuan-Yuan Sword VII for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, according to the official list of games being exhibited at Tokyo Game Show 2019 released by the Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association. The list notes a winter 2019 release in Japan.

Xuan-Yuan Sword VII takes place in the last of Western Han Dynasty. The development team will bring back the ancient China environments, props, humanities and culture studies into gameplay. Speaking of the Xuan-Yuan Sword series, the ancient mystery clan, Mohist, plays an important role throughout the story. Xuan-Yuan Sword VII will primarily focus on their unique weapon tech, Mechanics. By introducing three types of ancient Mechanics simultaneously in a grand scene and further more dig out the secret of how the Mohist clan disappeared from the history.
