Travis Scott Concert
#1
omg what kind of nonsense went on at that show?
I have been to dozens (ok probably more) of shows, never have I ever seen anything like this, freaking unbelievable
all artists that I have seen have stopped their show to point out to get help to someone in distressed
this guy ..nope...it just didn't seem like his fans are very important to him.
incase you're wondering Yes I had heard of him before hand a co-worker likes his music and has put it on loud speaker countless times.
and he has had other issues during this tour
it looked like there wasn't enough security..him egging everyone to move up was no help
an absolute shitshow

No what gets me was the dad who took his 9yr old (which ended up dying) there.
Like how why would he bring his kid to a crowd like that in the first place.

I know right.
It's a horrible thing that it happened at any point, but the father should've known better & not done that & should bare the majority of the responsibility in this situation.
Large concert crowds are joke for full grown adults & no place for small children.

I totally agree that type of concert is not a place for a child.

I brought my daughter to see the counting crows and Rusted root concerts when she was young..
never a hint of any trouble at any of their previous shows that I had been too so I felt comfortable bringing her
she was 6 for counting crows, 10 and 15 for rusted root. (this was years ago of course) she is 30 now
a few years back (pre-rona) Ice T came to out local fair for a concert.
I had seen him previously with his group Body Count..
I went with my oldest son and his girl (in their 30s) the place was packed
he comes out starts his rap...people start walking out with their kids
I was rolling, shit he was rolling
says over the mic wtf you think Tutuola (his character on law and order) was gonna come out and solve a crime?
i about lost it hell we all were rolling
he still put on a great show
just wasn't a place for a child

Yeah, & even adults in concert crowds have to be careful too.
Large crowds equals a tremendous amount of weight, & with that many people packed into together it doesn't take much to knock them off balance.
Cause a small portion of a crowd to stumble, or run, or fall, & you have a domino effect.
So yeah bringing small kids is a risk.

omg down on the floor right in front of the stage very risky even for adults is right. I haven't been that close in sooo many years
I'm way too old for that nonsense LOL
these days my moto is , buy lawn seats, upgrade night of the show, all and all generally about 50/60 bucks per ticket and pretty good seats
..yes seats. I also don't drink at the shows at my age I like to remember them now also too damned expensive
I saw Korn a month or so ago freaking I can't remember 5 or 6 dollars for a damn can of water ..water

Wow lol, I never went to a concert before. I'm not into crowds.
OMG Just think if you have to pee lol.

But that movie Jenifer's body really turned me off to the concert thing too.
Thousands of people squished together trying to get out. Not something I wanna experience ya know.

I totally understand, I have always loved going to concerts
(this is just me mind you)
at the begining as a teen the venue was in the next town around 15 dollars a ticket
Kiss,heart,inxs,the cars,
anywho
so going was pretty easy. go get high have a few drinks whatever don't remember the show no big woop

now that ticket prices are pretty nuts.
so being older and appreciating music more I pretty much stay sober "shrugs"
I like to remember the shows

BAHAHAHA you guys!
ok I got one for ya.
My son Kevin and I went to see an all day concert show, tons of bands 3 or 4 side stages
to the one main stage.
a ton of bands a lot I didn't know some I did I'm not sure if that helps with the story or not.
anyways there was this young girl probably in her early 20s
(I know I'm going to hell so no need to point that out)
this girl was huge, huge (I'm not little by no means)
she was wearing a tiny plaid pink and black skirt a tiny white blouse (top) tide at the waist
wearing this pink leather Mask that covered her whole face (it was hot as balls that day)
she would jump into every mosh pit and everyone just avoided her. she would land on the ground
everywhere you looked she was on the ground.
in between mosh pits she would just stand and stare off into nowhere then start trying to ram into people again to end up on the ground. she would try to body surf the crowd ..again ..nope
it's funny on my facebook this came up in my memories LOL her just standing around..

ok
here's another
went to see Korn with Kevin and his girl Tash
the return of the dreads tour
Korn, rob zombie and a group called "In this moment"
I had never heard of them before excellent music lead singer was a girl.
great voice
so we had just gotten to our seats just before In this moment came on
a young girl came along and asked to sit next to me
I'm like sure no problem. kevin and tash looking at me all weird
so she sits for a couple minutes asking me about what I thought of the show and stuff
she was dressed as one of the old pin up,rock a billy style
Red, you know what I mean right?
poofy skirt and the hair all up?

we talk a little, she excuses herself, comes back with french fries or something
offers to share "shrugs"
In this moment came on (kevin, tash and I were very surprised we all liked them very much)
she asked what we thought of the group.
we told her and off she went
never saw her again
