RE: GARO: THE ANIMATION - VSW - 02-13-2019 I just got finished watching Garo The Animation & it's not bad, not great but not bad either. It's a supernatural anime about Makai Knights, witches, demons which they call horrors, & Alchemists. The story revolves around a kingdom led by a sick king all plagued with horrors with the Makai Knights pledged to protect the people from the terrible demons. The story is interesting just as the characters are but kinda dull after awhile. I found myself watching 2 or 3 episodes just to get through all 24 Eps. The artstyle is a mix of drawn with cg animation which looks like something of a netflex original, there is blood though so meh. There's some fairly decent fights & cool looking demons but it's stacked with story. All & all Garo The Animation isn't a total snooze fest & intriguing enough that I am going to watch the next chapter Garo: Vanishing Line which looks much more action packed & interesting. I do recommend giving this a watch if you're interested in the series maybe you'll enjoy this one way more than I did.
